A sperm whale weighing around 30 tonnes became stranded on a sandbar at Rockingham in Western Australia. Authorities say it is likely the same whale spotted by swimmers days before at a beach in Perth. The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have confirmed the whale has since died
